Amanda & Brian

I made the shower cake for Amanda & Brian a few weeks ago and here is their wedding cake!
And 200 cupcakes!
Here is the front of the cake.  The initials are their brand.

Here is the entire table.

Since the cake could be seen from all sides it had to look as good on the back as it did on the front.

A twist on the Anemone Flowers... They both compete in rodeos
and she had these mini conchos made for the centers of the anemones.

And... the cupcakes!  200 each with a single hydrenga bloom with silver dragees in the center.

Josh & Jessica

Josh & Jessica are our neighbors and they got married in Vegas a few weeks ago and had a reception here this weekend.  This cake speaks class and elegance.  Congrats Josh & Jessica!!!

Stormie & Bill

Another tooled leather look cake!!!  Stormie's daughter bought the cake stand for her to use for her wedding.  It fit the cake perfectly!   I made all the gumpaste flowers for this cake, Cala lilys, Merlot Daisies, Sterling Silver Roses, Teal wild flowers and the fiddle head ferns.  Congrats Stormie & Bill!

Buddy is 40!!!

Buddy turned 40 and his family surprised him with a party at the Golf & Country Club.  This was a fun cake... WOW... 40... Really???  HA HA!!

Samples For Brides

Libby & Steve

I was so thrilled to make Libby & Steve's wedding cake.   The cake had the tooled leather look and this time had the ivory under it.  Love the contrast.   Congrats' Libby & Steve!

More Graduation Weekend

And another graduation cake... Zach's Football Jersey and Helmet.  If you look close... you can see Zach's face in the helmet.  I had his face printed on an edible image and put it inside the helmet!  Congrats to Zach & Tasha!

GRADUATION WEEKEND

It is Graduation weekend here and here are the cakes for the weekend... Tasha is a such a sweet girl and she shows cows and is quite the cowgril so her Princess Cowgirl cake fits her perfectly.  I had Heidi borrow her belt and I copied it onto her cake.

Aunt Edna's 80th Birthday

My dear Aunt celebrated her 80th birthday in December.  We tried to get a celebration together around her birthday and it just did not happen.  So my cousin suggested Memorial Day weekend so I went with it, and we had the most wonderful time getting together with family and friends to celebrate Edna's 80 years!  Here is the special cake I made for an amazing remarkable lady!  And thanks so much to my dear friend Kathy Hayes for coming down and taking these amazing photos for me!  All the flowers are handmade gumpaste flowers... took a long time to make them all but love the end result!

Jeanne's 30th Birthday

Our beautiful daughter turned 30 and so I made her cake... this poor cake had to travel 6 hours in a snow storm to get there!  The roads were horrible but we made it and so did the cake.  The birthday party was a ton of fun and we had a wonderful weekend with all of our children.
The cake had pictures of her from baby to age 30.  All printed on edible rice paper.

I have included a couple pictures of the trip... the freezing rain was coming down so hard our window had ice all over it.  The snow was deep and could not really tell where the road was the plows had not come through yet.  It was a fun drive!!!
