Tim's 70th Birthday Cake
Tim restored his 1939 Buick Special car and his wife, my sister, asked me if I could replicate it in cake.... well... it is not to scale but it was a huge hit. Everything on this car is edible!
My Tucker is 5!
And another Grammy creation for this boy who loves military things! He helped me plan the cakes via Pinterest! He wanted an Aircraft Carrier and a Tank. We made the MRE bags and filled them with Caramel Corn and there were explosives.. aka poprocks... and rescue ropes aka nerds ropes... and Gun Powder aka Pixie Sticks. The water bottles we used duct tape and wrapped them then wrote his friends names on them. The inside of the tank cake was camo! Was a lot of fun!
Andrew's 2nd
I did not get to make a first birthday cake for Andrew because they moved to Colorado. When the second birthday came around Grammy packed her cake baking tools and fondant and flew to Colorado to make his cake! Love the joy in the eyes of the children when they see their special cakes!
Tyler's 21st
I made my first Red Solo Cup 21st birthday cake for Tyler's brother Seth a few years ago so when it was time for Tyler's 21st his mom called me for another one! Love this family!
Ken's 60th
I had to apologize to Ken because the head is way to small for the body. It got some laughs anyway!
